I delayed sex until post high school and I think I married young at 27. But I also had plenty of time to meet other men. It’s not a race and I’m glad I waited until I was more mature. And I definitely, definitely don’t regret not sleeping with any high schoolers.
Many people meet their spouses in college. I don’t think that’s really young. We got married at 26 and 27 years old. So...same as you. Not sure why you felt defensive when reading my post.
Not defensive. Just, counterpoint, you can get “experience” and marry young and also delay sex.
