Just finished listening to The Dutch House read by Tom Hanks, it was very good.

I also love listening to any book read by an Australian guy.

OP here, this thread is giving me all sorts of great books. I just looked up the Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks and it's narrated in part by Bahni Turpin, who was one of the great narrators in The Help. And it turns out Turpin has narrated a bunch of great books, so just going off her books alone will give me some good candidates.

Thank you! I would never have thought to listen to this book as an audiobook, and I have been meaning to read it.

Life After Life is a great book but the audiobook is a strong complimentary to it

For adults (when there are not kids in the car/within earshot), Furiously Happy by J Lawson.

The Hate U Give and On the Come Up by Angie Thomas were so much better as audiobooks

Also, all the Crazy Rich Asian books were amazing on Audible. I would not have enjoyed them half as much without the accents. Just great.

I listened to Eleanor Oliphant is completely fine and liked it quite a bit. I would have enjoyed it in print too, but the Scottish accent in the narration made it much better, I think.

Let the Great World Spin, by Colum McCann. (One of the characters has a beautiful Irish brogue.)
