Then it sounds like they used a surrogate. Regardless of how the baby was born, she is a mom now and I think that's great.

Gee maybe she said that to help avoid the press hounding her? Poor Jennifer Anniston said she wanted to have a kid when Friends ended and now she has endured 15 yrs of pregnancy speculation.

What would you say if you were in their position? If you admit to wanting kids it pushes the pregnancy watch into overdrive and multiplies the tabloid stories about your "pregnancies". Seriously, how many times has Jennifer Aniston been reported as pregnant with twins and she has never given any indication that she wanted to procreate. It's really not hard to tell your child that you raised and love that you are so happy you changed your mind.

Anyway, terrible name, but I think Raddix will have plenty of life advantages that allow her to rise above it.

Maybe she said she didn't want kids so it would hurt less that she couldn't have kids.

Maybe they'll call the baby Dixie.

Well it's extremely unlikely this was an accidental pregnancy at 47, so she probably actively did something to have a kid at this age and therefore wants a kid now.
