Just a headup--the lightning charging port is probably disappearing next year too....

I had to turn off the lift to turn on feature because the phone would light up constantly. I double tap the screen to get it to come on like I used to do with the button. It's fine.

Uh, you know you can get a splitter for like $10 right?

That's fine, but it seems like you have to buy a ton of crap on the regular for "$10" just to keep up with Apple.

New lightning cable when theirs go bad because they can't just use the same port as everything else- $10
Splitter so you can charge- $10
Adapter if you want to use regular headphones- $10
Wireless headphones because you got sick of using the adapter- $15- $$$$

I like the iphone better than my husband's samsung, but I avoid upgrading to the next version because of this crap.

I just replaced my 6s today and am beyond confused. The guys at the store today basically treated me like my 74 year old mother... and I’m 39.

I thought I would miss the home button but I don’t miss it at all. I adjusted very quickly. I have an 8 for work and definitely prefer my 11.

I get annoyed at Apple products until I try to set up and use the competitors. I’ve nearly thrown my son’s phone out the window many times, and everything takes fifteen illogical steps and still doesn’t work. (hasn’t Android heard of a combo update?) .

Again - why should I have to buy new stuff when I’m upgrading one level of the same product line?

And, yes I know apples whole manufacturing and design is based on planned obsolescence. This is just a huge annoyance to this life long apple user
