Test results are not mailed. You are either accepted or not.
The CogAT scores with number of correct answers showed up in the parent portal. We then received a recommendation letter that also included the MCPS percentiles (and national's as well) in the mail.
My DD with slow processing speed didn’t finish any of the sections. Does it say correct/wrong/unanswered, or just number correct?
It tells you the total number of questions, the number attempted by your student, and the number correct. My kid is somewhat slow with math and only attempted 36 questions, but got 35 of them correct -- that was more useful for me to know than just being told she got 36 out of 52 correct.

Thank you so much for the information, also please let us know, under which section in the parent portal do they post the results?

Do you find out test results?
Are magnet acceptances just magically mailed
one day in January?
Is there a “you’re being considered” phase or just a single communication that is final?
Just in, out or waitlisted.
And that 'just in, out or waitlisted' applies to two different schools. A kid may be 'in or waitlisted' at TPMS and out at Eastern, and vice versa. Some kids, reportedly, got in both - but I don't think those exist in real world.![]()
Last year we were told that around 80 kids (including mine) were accepted to both Eastern and TP.
