I’m sure he’s kind and generous in person, one on one. Really, I have no doubt he can be charming. But that’s not what this thread is about. Re-read the title. Was true years ago - I know someone who worked directly for him in the 80s. He's changed. I honestly think there's some kind of dementia there.


PP here. Have you spoken with anyone who has spoken to him privately, recently? I've heard this assertion - he's normal in person - from politicians who met with him privately during the 2016 campaign.
