I think SUVs (in any color) tend to look less dated than sedans of the same age. That being said, we have a 10 year old SUV we’re terrible about washing regularly and up close you can see some scratches, nicks and dings. It still looks pretty good and I think being silver really helps.

Gold held up much better than white, and black is the worst for me; silver and gray easily blend into the road and are often not seen by others.

So I would vote for gold or red.

We have found that metallic colors hold up the best. I have a burgundy metallic that looks terrific after 10 years. Make sure you wash it and give it the occasional polish wax to keep it nice.

My tween is urging me to buy a “blue flame” car, but I just don’t think I can bring myself to do it...even though there seems to be a surplus of them on the lot!

AND my kid is always waiting for me when I get to the front of car pool line because the walk is talkie ladies can identify me from like 1/4 mile away.
