None of the "special foods" is going to make a difference if your body is not ready and if your body is ready to go into labor, there's very little that you can do to stop that process either. Stay hydrated and well nourished. Once labor starts, depending on hospital protocol, it might be a while before you are permitted/before you want proper food.
I agree, eat foods that will give you energy and not make you feel sick. My first pregnancy I was super strict about my tea. I still had a cesarean. This time I will eat yogurt, eggs, and other healthy foods just in case it's the night I go into labor. I refuse to rush my body when it's not ready.
