A 121 is a very good score. It is nothing to be upset about. It might not put the child in the pool for AAP consideration but the parent can choose to parent refer. And the child will probably be just fine if they are in a gen ed classroom. The vast majority of kids in FCPS do not attend AAP and most of them will go on to take honors and AP/IB classes. Or the child might be eligible for level III services.
DP. Saying the score is low doesn't mean OP is upset. She's just acknowledging that it's low relative to a lot of the scores posted here. Lighten up.

While a 121 is not good enough for in pool, it is not so bad to disqualify her.
Both kids did well on Cogat and ironically did worst on the nonverbal, which is what the nnat also tests. Both kids got almost perfect scores on the quant section.

Did she end up AAP?
I believe you are missing the point. Your child did well on a standardized exam. Being worried that a very good score, 90th percentile or so, is “low” because it is not an in pool score is not cool. Love the kid you have and understand that AAP does not mean your kid is better then not AAP.
