Hardly the middle of nowhere. I recall people saying Dartmouth was in the middle or nowhere too. Those people obviously never visited.


+1. I went to Dartmouth and it was remote but hardly in the middle of nowhere and DC goes to Wes and it is in the middle of a small city in central Connecticut. I have another DC at an ivy and my impression has been that the Wes experience is far superior in every way.

Grinnell's current rank is 14. Wesleyan's is 17.

No it isn't, and it hasn't been for some time. Check out the US News rankings. Also, Grinnell has more than triple Wesleyan's endowment per student. Grinnell is clearly better.
