OP here, just took the pill at CVS. It’s 36 hr after though, hopefully no serious side effect and pregnancy.

The chances you're pregnant are minuscule. However, if you are pregnant, the chance that there would be serious defects with the fetus is huge.

Take that pill.

Normally I'd say no - 105 out of 72,005 makes it less than 0.2% chance. But do you want to be that woman delivering her 10th child a week after her 49th birthday? Nope. And it seems that they had abortions for women age 51.

What’s the percentage of you which is comfortable with being pregnant? If the likelihood of getting pregnant is 1-4%, are you ok with that if it turns out you are? Odds are slim but not null. I’d say if you’re not having sex with him “enough to bother” it’s because things aren’t amazing enough for you to want to throw a baby in the mix, regardless of your age and other factors.

Yes, take it.
You can take it later, but it is less effective as time goes on.

Especially as you are “older”, ovulation can be more rogue and less predictable. The side effects are minimal, but the peace of mind is great.

Take a HPT in two weeks, and again in three, even if you have bleeding, as Plan B can mess up your endometrial lining.

as an OB the oldest natural conception to term in my career is 45. It's not impossible at 46 but extremely unlikely, much less than 1%

Mom of twins conceived at 46 here. It can happen - trust me. No regrets now though.
