No. There are so many different brands, strains, etc. I had a chocolate, which was nice and relaxing. Another time I had a gummy and I felt like I was tripping. It was terrible!!!

I'm sorry OP. Hopefully your son will not be charged or charges will be dropped with a fine. Get a good lawyer if it gets to that. Then get record expunged. At very least in MD you can get the record off the internet (ie public record)by paying a small amount. I think it's $35.

As you might be able to tell, I think charging kids for pot is stupid... I'm not a proponent of them selling or taking to school, I just think it should be legal. Like in Colorado.

Not all high schoolers are minors.Think seniors who are 18. In our public high school there were plenty of seniors who are 18 think redshirting for sports.


It's 21 in all adult use states. It will never be 18.

" Of course we have all told our children not to do drugs and alcohol and everything else "bad" but like the above post suggests they are stupid at that age. Doesn't make it right. Doesn't make it bad parenting. Just stinks for them and the parents.

I told mine once they were old enough to understand if they get caught with drugs (any) or have a DWI or DUI don't call me or their dad. Will not respond they are on their own. My 26year old, my youngest, recently told me, that stayed with him all through HS and college, and he said he knew I meant it. For some reason it stuck well with him.

You done good!

Just like they take pot to school or anything else for that matter.

Edibles are super easy now a days. They come in chocolate bar versions, mints, small candies, gummies, cookies, brownies, and many other items.

Many edibles are small and only have small amount of ThC in them like 5 mg. That would be gummies, small candies, mints, etc, But cookies, brownies and few other items large candy bars have more.

Depending how much he or she had on them when caught will decide what happens. Also, if distributed to others is a whole other issue and compounds punishments.
