There are 327 million people in the U.S. and many people on this thread are claiming to be, not just millionaires, but multi millionaires in their 40's and 50's. Maybe they are but I remain a bit skeptical.

Why? How old are you and how much have you saved? FWIW, I know a fair amount of people who will never make 5 million dollars in their entire lifetime much less save 5 million, lol. If you can save on average $166,666 every year for 30 years, you too can get 5 million in savings.
