When they fight, and they will, its a perfect opportunity to work on sharing. My kids have 1 tablet and they share. They have 1 gaming system and they share. They do have their own bikes and things that are better with two players.
No, its nice for kids to have their own things. Why do they need to share everything. Usually conflict is fixed with the oldest winning and a two year old cannot compete with a 6 year old.

To the PP with the 529 comment: So we usually do put the money he sends in their savings, but I notice my husband’s siblings don’t send cash- they send not so great presents and my daughter does talk about it all the time. I mean, she’s 6. She loves presents. I want her to think about my brother. This is totally age appropriate and their is no need to shame me for wanting my kids to think of their uncle.
I say put it away. Then when they are 18 and go to college you can hand them a big check and say Uncle Tim gave you money to buy beer and Chipotle or whatever it is then. They'll love him!
