My closest friends from the friendships formed in the baby/toddler years I still see, in part because we go to the same church. Others I still consider friends but we don't get together very often. Our kids did not stay friends because they went to different schools.

The mom friends I've made haven't really become real, close friends. Lot of very nice, cool people, and it's great to be in the same stage of parenthood, but my true friends are the ones I've had well before becoming a parent, so when I have time to be with friends, they are the ones I want to spend it with.
