I have driven that stretch and all over uae and they have more traffic cameras than anywhere on earth.
None. I don’t think cameras were a thing there at the time. Also did not hit a camel. That can be really bad.

120 mph in a race car at a charity event. And while driving 120 mph got hit by another race car. Thought that would make me cool in the eyes of my kids. Alas it did not. Mind you, I was a passenger in the car. Not the driver. P

130 on US-50 coming back from the beach at 2am. No cars on the road and it was a downhill. It was an Audi and it had a speed limiter.
Did 150mph on the autobahn in Germany, but that's not so crazy given I was being passed by Porsches going 180.

112 mph while in SLC, UT while visiting my girlfriend's family. I was the passenger and about had a heart attack when I looked over and saw the speed. It didn't feel like we were moving that fast at all.
I noticed that when driving with her parents out to dinner, they were big speeders as well (90 mph) as were most of the other drivers up there. It's just so... flat and open when not up in the mountains.

110 in an '89 Acura Legend in 1995. I hit 100 in an '85 dodge Caravan the year before that. Whew. Lucky to be alive.
