All are good schools. So is Hearst, and it is significantly smaller. Two classes per grade. So if you prefer a smaller school, I would go with Hearst.

What happened at the forum last night? We’re considering moving inbounds for Murch - please share.

I hate to say it but this is kind of true. Maybe it's because Murch has slighlty more ethnic/economic diversity? Thank you apartments/condos on Connecticut!!

Runs over a little to the kids too.... at least if any bunch seems more entitled and "mean" - its the Janney kids. Huge generalization with multiple kids having gone through Deal.

I have interacted with parents from all three schools. Murch parents are the best. Janney parents are hyper competitive. Lafayette parents are bigots.

Go with Janney if you can afford the neighborhood. We are so pleased with the school, and congratulate ourselves now and then that we had the good luck and timing (DH would say acumen) to buy in AU Park six years ago. Janney is awesome - Go Jaguars!

Ok, ignore the tone of this weird braggart.

I've had 3 kids at Janney. It's a great school. So are Lafayette and Murch. 2 of my kids are now at Deal and have become close friends with kids from these other schools. They are all equally well prepared. The kids are interchangeable from one another.
Just buy the house you like.
