Quesadillas wrapped in foil (refried beans, cheese) or grilled cheese (tomato soup on the side in thermos)
Grilled cheese isn’t gross hours later?
My son begged and begged for me to pack him a grilled cheese for lunch despite my insisting it would be gross. I finally did one day and sure enough, he came home hungry because he said he couldn’t even eat it, it was so gross.
Anonymous wrote:If he will eat a warm quesadilla we have had lots of success by using a hand warmer in the lunch box to keep it warm. Wrap the quesadilla in foil then wrap another layer of foil around the quesadilla and hand warmer.

Taco meat and separate mini soft shells, lettuce, tomato on side.
Boiling water and a Turkey dog. (it will cool enough to remove carefully with fork) put a Chick Fil A ketchup packet and hot dog roll in ziplock on the side
Pasta with meat sauce or Baked Ziti
Grilled Chicken cut up with broccoli and rice.
Taco meat, salsa, with shredded cheese in thermos and chips on the side to dip
Mac n cheese (sometimes I add chopped turkey bacon or turkey dog)
Soups (homemade mostly, sometimes canned)
Chopped up turkey, gravy, stuffing and green beans all mixed together.
Chicken Tenders with Chick fil-a dipping sauce
Pork Fried Rice
Scrambled eggs with tomatoes, chopped turkey bacon and sprinkle of cheddar
French toast casserole with a link of turkey sausage and a syrup package on the side.
BBQ chicken cut up, mashed potatoes and corn
Smashed up spinach quiche
I mean tons of items. I usually just do a thermos, a fruit, and if the thermos is pretty healthy, add a small treat.

Anonymous wrote:Here is a tip. Put hot water in the thermos for about 5-10 mins, then empty it real quick before you put the food in. Keeps it warn longer. My 7yo liked chicken nuggets and chicken noodle soup. Alternate cold lunch udea if you have the Bentgo box is cold leftover chicken. I do this about ince a week and put ketchup in one of the compartments.

+1 they sell “steet” (super small) size soft tortillas now too — roll up and fit great in thermos!
