Okay, I bit. Fell down the internet rabbit hole. My big question, where is the income for this family of five? I get that grand mom is a star, but between the two married adults, I see an out of work actress and a failed athlete with a stalled post-athletic career. There is no actual income supporting this family. It might be as suburban and mundane as financial troubles. Grandparents are sick of bailing them out of their bad decisions in their 30s! Also, when women have perfectly curated social media presence where everything is, figuratively, perfect, automatically suspect they are lying about everything.

Also, I don’t know anyone who went to Brown who is not at least a little mentally unstable. It just appeals to wackadoodles

Default parenting is real, guys, and it leads directly to divorce! That's been my experience, and whenever a mom posts on DCUM about a dad who does nothing, that is what I tell her. Therapy now, or divorce later. Even if the dad stops the behavior and engages with the family work later on, it's very hard to get over the feelings of abandonment and exploitation.

I loved her in Saved, but her whining about parenting in the people article and stupidity for getting pregnant a third time for the heck of it shows that she’s immature and self centered. Apparently both these adults need to work on themselves.

Do you think the fact that the woman works part-time or not at all, means that she has to do ALL the domestic labor? I don't. Plus, her husband doesn't work full time either. He's a former soccer player and a current "television soccer analyst and host." She probably worked more than he did.

Of course not. Neither of these two were doing all the domestic work. The maid probably did more work if you’re going to nitpick.

We’ll certainly after the first she knew. Complaining about him brings sympathy and brings the attention she needs. She made her choices for her family size knowing the type of father he would be. As hard as it is to raise three kids alone, she better off without him.

This is sad. I hope she moves on and enjoys her life. If that’s his town and she misses home, her kids are young enough for her to move back to LA and skip the cold NE winters. They both seemed like they were struggling and then adding another baby...

If I were to guess I’d say something huge happened. I’m thinking to leave my husband while pregnant he either have to sleep with multiple men, do hard core drugs, or become violent with me or my kids.

She had said that he was not much for parenting and seemed to have a very 1950's idea of what a father should be.

That seems like something they should have figured out BEFORE getting pregnant with #1.

It makes no sense that this split was a long time coming (or something like they've been secretly separated for a while). The pregnancy and house purchase/reno are so recent! No way would they do either of those things if they had decided a while ago to split (or if they were strongly leaning toward it or thinking about it). Wishing them all the best...I know high profile marriages have different timelines, and I get celebrating eight years or ten years. Being married twenty, I now see...eight years is a young marriage and it often gets especially hard around year ten to fifteen. I have much respect for people married over twenty who have healthy, good marriages. It's not easy obviously

Just here to say I am also fascinated by this story - the pregnancy, the house renovation, and the way social media can create a shiny filter over everything. Not good for her brand.
