New York Shuk harissa is the best and we are very picky with our harissa(my mom is Moroccan . They have 5 different types but our fav is their harissa with preserved lemons. so good.

#2 for Yekta. That is where I get mine. Usually I go with the DEA brand, which comes in a handy squeeze tube.

I also like Les Moulins Mahjoub harissa, which is sold at Le Pain Quotidien.

I think Fresh Med in Cleveland Park has it in their teeny tiny grocery section.

There is a great Arabic food market in Adams Morgan- Khartoum Grocery, coincidentally, my most recent purchase from them was a tub of Harissa (as well as olive oil and some Halal sausage for guests we had coming over).
