The risk increase lies in total number of people slept with, not whether they happen to overlap. If you use safe sex practices I would not call it “very risky” though of course there is some increase in risk. It’s also risky to get in your car and drive every day but people do it and aren’t shamed for it. I don’t see much difference between sleeping with the same 2-3 guys for 6 months and sleeping with each of the 3 guys for 2 months each, not overlapping. If you’re sleeping with partners who have slept with many more partners that might also increase the risk, but that’s not necessarily what OP is asking about.

Until you have the conversation about being exclusive, everyone should assume their partner could be sleeping with other people. Common sense.

Ha! When I was a single guy living in NYC a decade ago I was a total man slut for a couple years. My younger sister even called me out for it then. I had no shame but then settled down and am happily married living in DC thankfully without any STIs.

That’s because manslut is not in common parlance, unlike slut, which is almost exclusively reserved for women. And everyone knows what slut means, because misogyny is so rampant in our culture.
