OP here. I am not looking for a normal relationship. I'd like a part-time relationship but I am never getting married again. I don't want to waste time with people who really want kids because then I would be wasting their time. I have no problem spending time with younger men...I just don't want someone who wants kids, and it is confusing if younger men are being truthful or not.

OP: Just because you don't want to marry again or have kids doesn't mean that what you are seeking is all that unusual. There are many of us on this site looking for what you have described. Just communicate your desires and relationship goals and let the chips fall where they may...

accurate

I make that assumption about every person who uses these sites. Am I incorrect?

OP here. I am not desperate or an easy lay so I would say you are very inaccurate.

One could argue that using an app known for hookups is, you know, desperate and easy.....

I'm 47 and get hit on by men in their 30's more often than I would have ever expected. A few weeks ago I had a 25-year-old hitting on me in a bar. I turned that down because ewww, that's a crazy age gap, but he was hot. I have friends my age who would have hit that.

Guys swipe right if they think you're hot. They don't always care in that moment about your age. Some of them will end up not following up because of your age, but some still won't care. I have multiple female friends who are dating or married to guys who are 10-20 years younger than they are.

have fun!

I never dated a woman my age. Always went older. Too much drama with women the same age or younger. Wife is three years older and still looks damn good!

The first three guys I dated after I got divorced were in their mid-30’s. I was 44 when my divorce was finalized. It was really fun because no one was looking for anything more. I would never have been with any of these men long term. I have some fond memories though and it was great for what it was. One of them had never been married and wanted kids and a family. My kids were teens at the time. Totally incompatible with where we were in life but fun for a little while.

Many threads on misstating your age. For some reason taking a few years off your age is a bigger sin than an old picture. I took a few years off my age but had a recent picture. I got creamed by the dcum women. I am not on any sites now.

I was flipping through a magazine at a hair salon today and there was a whole article on how millennial men love older women. It said the #3 and #4 searches on pornhub (free porn site??) were MILFs and hot stepmom. Who knew.

Dating sites make it easier since you list your age there. IRL, it's a little harder for men to determine which women are not interested in kids before they start dating.

I know that. My question was about early 30s men who specifically say they want kids. I would be a waste of time...yet I get a lot of likes from them.

They are saying that so that they do not automatically get filtered out by women who want kids. Basically, gaming the system.

It's not weird at all b/c you're a woman looking to hook up with younger guys. Now if you were a man looking to hook up with younger women, the mother hens here would be out to castrate you.

IMO, you (man or woman) date whoever you want, regardless of age, SES, etc. just as long as you are clear about what you want/don't want to avoid stringing someone along or feeding them a bunch of lies.

The mother hens are probably wondering if op is going to buy the young men presents and pay for their meals like the young girls do. Or do the young guys just go and be themselves without expecting monetary favours.

I could get that going into any bar...I would not need to waste time online.
