I’ve had a number of family members and acquaintances die from this awful disease in the past ten years. Most of them had none of the “risk factors” for pancreatic cancer and had good health habits in terms of food and exercise. You are left with a feeling of, “if this person who was doing everything right, what can we do?”
Makes you want to just say "f*ck it" and start living like a rock star. That was my feeling after my dad died from terminal cancer.

He has lived a scandal-free life with his wife and children and is such a good, decent man. We watch Jeopardy every night after dinner as a family. I feel like he’s been a part of my family for so long. I truly hope he is able to recover fully.
