Pet names develop over time from natural intimacy. I’m guessing you didn’t call your wife by her pet name after a couple of dates.

Normal guy here. I have pet names for my wife and kids. It's my way of showing affection. They like it (but I don't call them the names in front of others) and don't think I'm creepy.

It's kind of creepy after four dates.

I wouldn't think being called beautiful is creepy, but if OP does, then that's enough. If she likes him she could tell him she's not comfortable and see if he changes. If she doesn't like him or doesn't want to do that, then he's just not the guy for her.
