Except... she’s hoping to reconnect with friends she had 5+ years ago. Not sure that’s realistic for most people. I know I was hoping to meet some friends when my child entered preschool, but that hasn’t happened. Waiting for elementary school now. I have tried other areas but nothing had turned into a real friendship.

If a mom is picking up her child from a playdate at my house, and it's close to evening time, I'll invite her in for a glass of wine. That always helps.
