Sleep.

My husband cleans the kitchen and then finds a sporting event to watch. I pack backpacks for the next day and then read a book or stream a show. If there’s laundry, we fold it. We often chat and catch up on the day. We have sex a couple times a week. Occasionally one of us has work to finish up. Then in bed by 10:30/11.

Usually TV, then sex, then sleep. Sometimes I futz around on the internet or try to read a bit.

1yo and 3yo go to bed at 7. One of us tidies up from dinner and hangs out with the 7yo until 8. Then maybe a bath, playing a board game, snuggling in bed, reading next to each other, sex 2-3 times a week, until I crash about 9:30. Occasionally we watch a movie.

You do. But you may chose to sleep instead which is fine and your choice.

No matter how late my kids go to sleep, there is always work to be done afterward. Sometimes I do put it off, but most nights I stay up cleaning and preparing for the next day.

My husband goes to bed at the same time as the kids, because he gets up at 5 am to leave for work. I stay up until 1 am usually.

So what I do:

-clean
-laundry
-read books
-movies
-crafts

I work from home and usually have time to make up after the kids go to bed. DH cleans up from dinner, does laundry etc.

Occasionally we watch a bit of TV or do a crossword puzzle. I read a lot of books.

Honestly having sex every night or even 2-3 times a night right now sounds exhausting. Thankfully DH and I are on the same page in this regard.

Usually read or watch TV. Sometimes sex if DH is still up. All of the cleaning is done before bedtime, so the only chore I do later is scooping the litter box.

Clean the kitchen and prep for the next day and then some tv before reading a bit before bed. Sometimes sex. But it feels like less than the people in this thread lol.

For dh swap cleaning and prep with laundry and TV with computer games.

I don't think either of us feel like this is a waste of time, we are both people who need to recharge.

I'm so tired by the time I get the kids to bed all I want to do is go to sleep, but I try to catch up on chores while feeling like a zombie. Sometimes I just crash. Sex sometimes if DH wants it, but I'm really resentful about it because he doesn't really work and sleeps in every morning while I get the kids to school and go to work, but doesn't help with much at all and I'm so fffnnnn tired all the time.

For us not every night. DH is often asleep on the couch by the time I come down from getting all the kids washed up and to sleep. I would say 2-3x/week

Clean. I usually have to finish cleaning the kitchen and I try to deep clean one room per evening, pack lunches, sex, read in bed.

Cleanup, get ready for the next day, occasionally go to bed early myself if it was a taxing day.
