I find it a bit odd that a 56 year old man in a relationship is watching these dumb videos, but I agree with PPs that the YouTube rabbit hole is real and would be embarrassed if anyone looked at my browser history. Because I’m a closet weirdo. But so are a lot of people.

PP here. And I'm doing this stuff in order to keep my current relationship alive. He's doing the same thing. Trying not to f things up with you.

Guy here. I watch these and read other forums as CONSTANT reminders of how things work with dating today in 2019 so as not to f things up. If I do not have these constant reminders, I can too easily revert back to my old ways which I learned from Disney and romantic movies -- which is not how dating works today. It's like going to the gym for me. I lose it if I don't continually work my muscles to NEVER return to these old ways.

So he's trying to be better for you, and you complain? Men just can't win.

Would you prefer he dress like a slob, never pay attention to you, etc?
