Get a cleaner and cook.

I don’t get people who constantly complain about housework yet can’t seem to outsource it. I want my toilets scrubbed and I don’t want to do it.

Thanks all for the suggestions and insights. I didn't take offense to anything and appreciated the ideas and questions.

Our kids are ages 2 and 4, husband works days, I work nights and take care of the kids during the day.

We tried two cleaning services and were initially impressed, but after the first month, things went downhill. They come when I'm gone, and are usually at least an hour late. The last few times I was disappointed that no one bothered to wash the kitchen floor.

What do you mean by you 'spend every waking hour with the kids'? How old are they? What are you doing with them? Depending on your answers, you may not be doing them any favors. If they are old enough, they should have chores, be helping you, be able to entertain themselves a bit while you do things you need to do.

If your cleaners do not impressed then perhaps it is because your house is so filthy they don't know where to start.
