I drive my daughter out of Montgomery County to play for a Baltimore team for the coaching and talent. Have never looked back, worth every second of it

Hero's didn't do so well in the tournament either.

Guessing there are two A teams between MC, Pride, Stars and BLC (and maybe NL) in each grade.

For 2026, as mentioned, best teams are generally MC midnight and Pride (maybe Stars). For 2027, Bethesda is decisively the best team at that age level. I bet if we looked at each age, you could make a list of two or so clubs that rise above the others. Much more about the mix of particular girls than club itself.

The pride 2026 a team competes well against baltimore teams and wins often. the 2027 team is not decisively the best. We beat pride by 3 and it was a good game.

? I think the bethesda 2027 won the NGLL which is why someone said they were the best 2027 team.

And 2026, I would agree that pride and MC are the best local clubs. Stars is good too.

Exactly. Where are all the players going? I find it hard to believe that Montgomery County can only field one "good" lacrosse team. I also find it hard to believe that so many players would want to travel to Baltimore/Virginia to play on one of their teams. What is going on?

There is a 2027 team. Not all teams play in all the same tournaments.

The 2026 Midnight team is definitely good. But what about the other MC teams? The rest of the years didn't have the best results. What's up with MC Elite except 2026?

Thank you for all of this info. Would be amazing to see how great those 2026 Midnight girls would be with consistent coaching. Sorry to hear that NextLevel doesn't seem to be working out for the folks that went there.

Anonymous wrote:Curious to know why the change from Next Level. I heard a lot of girls from MC recently went to Next Level and that the program is making a turn for the better? Curious to know if things did not turn out as great as first perceived? MC is struggling to maintain good coaching for the younger club teams and many younger girls have left. While Hero's and Pride make announcements for 2030 coaching staffs, MC can't maintain a 2026 coach....frustrating......also now that Bethesda is apparently going through high school that may also become an alternative....

I don't know of any player who moved to NL from MC this year.

And you would know this how? What a nasty comment. And incorrect. They have won games in tournaments this fall and last spring.

Agree this is a nasty thing to say. These are children. This is one of the things I dislike about travel sports...the nutcase parents like this.
