Prioritize friendships. Lonely teens are usually lonely college students and often lonely adults.

I was a totally lonely nerdy kid in HS with no friends. I have zero friends from HS.
Went to college and made some fantastic friends and have collected some meaningful, strong friendships since then in grad school and after.
