Op here - thanks again for the advice.
It looks like I have a friend who is willing to split everything 50/50 - World Series tix and 1/2 season plan with me, and pay me 1/2 of what I paid (face value) & I am pretty sure I will just do that.

You do a draft to decide who gets what tickets. Google it.
