I have downloaded the theme song (When We Swam) and some of John Waters' (Darcy) songs on Spotify, I love the music!

I finished all seven seasons a few weeks ago and I miss those people so much!

Getting ready to start Wonderland soon.

I loved when Darcy sang and played the guitar at someone’s wedding.

^ I’ve rewatched that song maybe 25 times over the last year or so. It is incredible — so funny and cringey, but the musicality of it is so good too. Eddie Perfect is awesome. Wait until you get to about Season 4-5 when he does an adorable song called “Billie Proudman, I Believe in You.” It will bring a smile every time.

I just started based on this board's recommendation and love the show. Saw this episode last night and the song is stuck in my head. Also ugly cried when they made up.

Thanks to Offspring, I watch almost any Australian show on Netflix or Prime. Lots of crossover actors!

The only problem I'm having is the sound seems really off. The music is so loud and the dialogue so quiet that I keep having to fiddle with the volume. I'm only a few episodes in so hopefully that situation will improve.

Omg. I’m having that exact same problem as well!

I streamed Wonderland from Amazon Prime on my laptop, no sound problem.

I miss it! I'm trying out Offspring. Perhaps I would like it better in the setting of Wonderland. The moms (Maggie and Geraldine) on these shows remind me of each other. Maybe it's a common middle aged Australian haircut or something.

I’m jealous you get to see this for the first time! I used to wish Hollywood would do an American remake. But they could not pull it off.

Hmm. I didn’t have that problem.
Did you watch A Place to Call Home?
I paid for Acorn for a few months to watch a bunch of British and Australian shows.

Also, I love Melbourne so much!

Would it be inappropriate to start a Go Fund Me so I can go visit Australia? I'm so poor I don't see it happening otherwise.

Just for scenery and a cool beach surf vibe, watch Wonderland. Looks like Bondi Beach but I think it's just a random Australian beach town. It's no Offspring, but it gives you the accent and Australia envy.

Wonderland is another Australian series that I watched a while ago. Got into it because Michael Dorman is addictive.

Loved Wonderland! Now I’m watching Spirited (another Australian show).

I’ve tried to watch Offspring, but it’s so boring. How many episodes does it take? What’s so great about it? I’ll try again.

I didn’t love the first season of Offspring but kept with it because of recommendations. Plus I liked seeing show with a strong but imperfect female. And love the Aussie accents.

It took a few shows to get into it but by the end of the first season I was so totally hooked!
