My kid doesn't play soccer or an instrument (I'm sure he is doomed to a life of mediocrity) but I don't see why you can't play soccer for life. I've played my sport for life, and the park by my house is filled every evening and weekend with grown ups playing soccer. Its fitness! Its fun! Why not?

What? I mean why getting out of bed?
I played soccer growing up and because of it I developed a great depth of character, ability to work well with a team, leadership skills, healthy body image and that's just the beginning. I met people from all over the world and developed a taste for travel. I mean, WTF, PP. Are you that dense? Do you only do things which will make you rich or win you an olympic gold medal?
