I assume he's cleared to be around children. Unlike one of the coaches our prior Club let slip through.
and a ref wouldn't be alone with them anyway so as long as you keep track of your kid it shouldn't be a problem.

Happy he has a job and hasn't resorted to panhandling.
And I have a neighbor in federal prison. You all are a bunch of hypocrites, too. When this neighbor was home awaiting sentencing, he still was going to back to school nights, teacher conferences, sports practices, driving carpool. No one said a word. And yes everyone knew.
