Get a Jeep Grand Cherokee. Hands-down, the best SUV on the road for the money.

Actually it goes to shareholders. Want to make money off Toyotas? Buy their stock -- the symbol is TM on the New York Stock Exchange.

Shares != 100% of the company. Isn't Toyota largely nation-sponsored and family owned?

Not Toyota Motor Corporation. The largest shareholder is Toytoa Industries and they own a bit under 7%.

How much does Fiat own of Chrysler?

The Toyoda family, which founded the family, owns less than 0.1 percent of Toyota shares.

Somewhat cute but I'd rather have the more elegant Porsche Macan.

Fun trivia do you know why it is called a Jeep?

Popeye cartoon had a character in it called a Jeep that could go anywhere. Jeep was its nickname as the original 4 wheel drive vehicles could go anywhere .

Volvo was purchased by the Chinese, Geely Auto, a subsidiary of Zhejiang Geely Holding Group. The cute XC40 is assembled in China.

Buy a car you want that you like and that you can afford. It is as simple as that. Compare consumer reports and engine specs. Toyotas are super reliable and way less tacky than any you mentioned, but you are not bringing it up. Most likely assembled in Texas. What he is saying is he wants American name brand, nothing to do where the car is assembled and he thinks that German cars are for snobs, clearly. If he is also voting for Trump, I would divorce.

Yeah but don’t those people hate us?

Which is ironic because without the elites buying BMWs they'd be out of work. I drive a 2004 subaru.

A Subaru assembled at their plant in Lafayette, Indiana?
