Agree with your general point but worth clarifying that all the Republicans in the WSJ op-ed are a) in the House and b) not turning on Trump

As usual, this is all some major wishful thinking on the part of Democrats. Americans are sick to death of your absurd antics.
That represents the views of 19 Republicans, not all Republicans.
Democrats hold 45 Senate seats. Only 67 votes are needed to sustain impeachment. If 19 Republicans are already turning on Trump do the math. 11 Republicans voted against Trump yesterday to over turn Trump's fictional emergency declaration. I think as evidence trickles out a few more Republicans will turn. That's why there are hearings.

OP asserted that Republican lawmakers are “turning on Trump”. Perhaps some are - but this article makes it clear that quite a few are not, and explains why.

I'd keep an eye on public opinion. As soon as they're in the clear, Republicans will turn - mostly because in their hearts they know he's a grifting criminal but they can't say that part out loud without losing their seats.
Bs- most Americans couldn’t Care less.
Past tense!
Just like for Nixon, the tide of public opinion can change in the blink of an eye.
