If that was what was actually happening, this would not be an issue.
That is what happens. With witnesses too.
As just an example....
Read this thread.
If this scumbag had been reported to ICE the FIRST time he was arrested, he would not have had the opportunity to rape a woman.
NEW: Police say 26yo Oluwakayode Adebusuyi raped an intoxicated woman in his car.
Per ICE, the Nigerian native is living in the U.S. illegally.
This is at least the eighth undocumented immigrant charged with rape or sex abuse of a minor in Montgomery County, Md. since July 25.
MORE: Last summer, MoCo Police charged Adebusuyi with 2nd-degree assault, 4th-degree sex offense and false imprisonment.
Prosecutors dropped all counts in that case for unspecified reasons.
Adebusuyi had been employed as a ride-share driver up until his most recent arrest.

People like him were deported under the Obama administration.
I'm assuming he didn't cross the border down south, so a wall would not have stopped him. Maybe I'm wrong.
This thread is not about President Trump, and it's not about building the wall. And neither was the rally in Rockville today. This is about Montgomery County not dropping a dime to call ICE when they have a bad guy in custody. Plain and simple.

Conflating immigration and illegal immigration yet again.
The side that was protesting Elrich's actions are not anti-immigration at all. They are totally against illegal immigration. Big difference.
Take a look at Help Save Maryland’s Facebook page. Completely racist. It’s not about legal status. And it’s definitely not about rape. These guys don’t care who gets raped. They just care who does the raping.

Since when do Republicans what the federal government to force the county government to enforce federal laws?
It’s so bizarre that Republicans want rapists let go and sent back to the country instead of tried conducted and put in jail away yet the Republican so yeah they do look rapists
We don't want them here to begin with.
And, when MoCo lets these monsters out on bond, if ICE knew they were there, they could take custody and get them off the streets.
