I put a scoop (maybe a tablespoon?) in my coffee every morning. No issues. I use the Vital Proteins kind and get it at Costco.

How much collagen powder are you adding? I use only 1 tablespoon a day, 2-3 times a week.

I use half doses and mix it into oatmeal. Haven’t had an issue. Also haven’t really noticed any difference in anything so probably not repurchasing. I got the Vital Proteins blue lid jar at Whole Foods.

I had the same thing terrible lower abdominal cramping about a couple weeks after I started taking it.it happened a few years ago too when I started taking collagen.Done with that!

Uhhhhhh. …. Yeah. Very much so gave me some kind of blockage too. I thought it was me who was defective. Collagen gummy almost sent me to the ER. Wtf?????????? Tv news should do some kind of expose on this crap. Google okinowan pork stew and make that instead!!!!!

My tummy got so cramped up and gassy and the gass didnt want to come out almost like I was intestional blockage. I topped for a couple of days and it went away so I thought I had a bug and retook it the same thing hahppened Im not gonna take no more. Vital Protein has great reviews I got mine from the store but it is not for me. Some probiotics do the same to me.

Meant to say, any amount of added protein like that has the potential for stomach upset, particularly when you aren't drinking enough water.

I've heard this about the one from cow collagen but the one from fish collagen doesn't bother me.

I must be super tired because reading these replies helped me make the connection that Vital Proteins might be causing this stabbing pain and general intestinal chaos in my lower abdomen. Thanks all!

My reaction was not as bad some of you, but it gave me a stomachache. I stopped using as I didn't like the way I felt.

Yes, i just experienced extreme cramping. Went on for days. Not really sure if it was this product but it is the only new thing in my diet. Very bad reaction. Appreciate hearing from others as i am prone to IBS and this seemed to come out of the blue with both diarrhea and constipation. Miserable experience.

Actually, it is. It's an entirely unregulated product that does not undergo mandated 3rd party objective testing. There could be dehydrated dog piss, or baby formula, or translucent powder in this supplement and you would never, ever know that as you stirred it into your coffee.

+1000. I won’t even buy skincare (like serums) from Amazon due to numerous reviews about bad product, watered down product, imitation product, etc. I would never in a million years touch supplements from Amazon. You have no idea what you’re getting.
