It’s DC. There are jerks and rage all over this stressed out sh@thole place. They take out the stress of an overly congested area, stressful jobs-and other crap behind the wheel.

But since that’s never happened, how would we even know?

Funny, because the only major rage incident I have ever experienced was from a biker breaking the law. He blew through a red light as I was turning right and nearly hit my car. When I stopped to pull into my building's driveway he pulled up to my window and yelled all kinds of psychotic profane things. I was so afraid I started dialing 911 as I had my kids in the car. Come to think of it, I see bikers yelling and screaming all the time. Oh, and breaking the law all the time. ALL THE TIME. So spare us the sanctimony.

To both of you: I bike and follow the law. You probably wouldn’t notice me on the road because I stick to bike lanes as much as possible and stop at stop lights. You’re welcome to join me for a ride.

Raging jerks suck, across the board. I guarantee you it’s scarier when you’re on a bike and the raging jerk is in a car. It’s why I’m scared to take my kids out biking.

By the way, drivers break the law all the time too, so save me your sanctimony.
