While kids may not be missing anything "academic," the first week of kindergarten is a big transition and consistency in routine is pretty important for a 5 year old


Sure. But not if the kid is sick and needs rest. And I’m sure day 4 is ok. Really any day is ok if the kid is sick. Chill. I’d rather have a healthy kid in class than a sick miserable one.
