+1
My travel coach was a butcher and another one was a drywall guy. Approximately how much are parents paying per season? Do a large percentage go on to D1 or higher? This sounds crazy to me.

Alexandria seems to be a stable, well-run club with a long-established tradition of excellent coaching, good teams (including the 2007 boys Region I champions last year), and community involvement. They also send lots of players on to DAs.
I've never heard of any drama coming out of Alexandria like you see with other clubs. They don't charge more than other clubs. I don't have a kid at ASA, but if I did, I wouldn't mind the pay of the ED one bit.
O drama because they are not competitive. Recreational club
WTF does that even mean? Did you miss the part about the 2007 Region I champions? "Competitive" for most of the numbnuts around here means recruiting big, fast kids who hit puberty early. What club is "competitive" for you? On the boys side, the best clubs are the ones who develop young players who can go on to play in the DA. Alexandria does that as well, or better, than anyone.

I'm pretty sure the best clubs are the ones that place players in college and beyond, Alexandria can't keep them past 12.

Do you mean 2017? Not sure it would be so impressive to have a single recent regional champ, but much more so than if we are talking 2007.
