These tutu rec center programs are injury factories. Be careful. Uncredinialed teachers ask for the tutu to make it fun. But they can't see the bodywork and often are on unyielding floors. It's not a ballet mom perspective. This is a therapists perspective. Not judging, just be careful. It happens all the time.

My DD wears a pair of thin sweatpants (not fuzzy on the inside so lint doesn’t get all over the tights) and a tee or top over her leotard.
