Can't be farther from truth. A relative of mine is currently a senior at Kelley School of Business. Not in any Frat. There are enough business school students who are not in Frat or Sorority that you can find students with like minded interests to form lasting friendships. Had an excellent summer internship at an I-bank and a full-time offer to boot (one year before graduation). Also did a semester abroad before the summer internship. Its an excellent school. IU's music program is simply superb. If your daughter has excellent academic and music skills, she wouldn't go wrong with choosing IU.

Well it is the truth. I attended and have first hand knowledge.

So did I. And you are full of it. I am sorry if you had a shitty time there. It speaks more about you than about the school. I hope your life is better now.

Agree that Case is worth looking at. Their music department is strong and I believe their business school is also. They have a single-door admission policy, so she wouldn't have to specifically apply to the music school or the business school, as she would for some colleges.

+1 !

Northwestern doesn't have an undergrad business school, just to clarify. Undergrads can get a certificate from the business school in either managerial analytics or financial economics.

Emory and Georgetown are good choices. Definitely over garbage UVA.
