Once the dementia is advanced, they don't care. We had to remove the pictures and curtains for safety.

Once the dementia is advanced, they don't care. We had to remove the pictures and curtains for safety.
I thought pp’s tone was pretty matter-of-fact. I think pp was thoughtful in decorating her room with personal items. Dementia isn’t pretty and you end up just doing what seems to work in the end.
