Have even looked into how to start a charitable foundation. There are a fair amount of expenses, so most think it's not worth it for less than a million dollars. You can put only up to 30% of your income into a private foundation, so you would need to win at least $3.3 million.

You can put up to 50% of your income into a donor advised trust, but that doesn't seem as fun.

No. Lawyer (partner) in a small firm. I love my partners, but clients can be so challenging. Maybe I’d scale out of litigation to just counseling, but I would definitely not litigate. It’s so draining.

Not a thing in my life would change, other than I'd be more generous anonymously when I knew someone was in need. I live minimally and absolutely love my work.

She didn't come today. I have a few options when she comes: refuse to go to her table and send the manager, or send the new guys who don't know what's coming to them or pay them to go to her table.
At some point I'm going to tell her that her behavior is not ok. Who the hell acts like she does and pays with credit card. I won't write quite yet what she does or says, but it's bad.
