Clean and wiped out is not normal. I think sinks cleaned once a week is normal. I don't leave globs of toothpaste, but no way do I scrub the sink each time I brush my teeth.
+1. Drying the sink is crazy. We do, however, squeegee the glass doors on the shower after each shower (or the second shower, if two people shower in a row). If you let soap scum build up on glass doors, it can etch them permanently. Which is why I’m not sure I want to install glass shower doors ever again.
