How did Puma Elite 08 girls do? Did they win state champion last year in futsal?

I had to look it up, but it doesn't look like it on girls or boys. https://www.virginiafutsal.com/Default.aspx?tabid=2412641

10u/11u was Lee Mount Vernon.
12U - HS was Puma Elite

LOL nobody is doubting the success just the amount of Kool-Aid one consumes over their futsal club. You are really, really excited about this and it shows.

Haha...yeah. Ok.

You get what you pay for

Which is what exactly?

You want quality coaching, teams, tournament levels[u], go to Puma Elite.

For instance, the Puma Elite team from last year won VA State, VA State runner up, Regionals in Richmond and Philly. The two teams swept every major futsal tournament in this area.

I had a coach once tell me Futsal is only foot skills and it doesn't really matter, any coach can teach that.

Don't go to one of those clubs. Puma Elite has coaches that played on an international level, professionally and have coached futsal for 20+ years.

Does anyone believe the above was written by a parent?

A parent who happens to run a futsal club. I have no problem with coaches or others speaking up. I do have issues with blanket misstatements and misrepresentations from them. You have to wonder one of two things: (1) how smart they can be to say things that are easily proven to be false, or (2) how dumb do they think parents/potential customers are when they say these things like "swept every major futsal tournament in the area."

The post read more like an add written by a coach/owner than written by a "satisfied customer".

If it was my kid I would stick with indoor and private training for that age. I do think futsal is very important for the younger ages. If this was a kid 6-12 then futsal futsal futsal. After about 12 though I think they should focus on outdoor for both keeper and field player.

If by "sweep" you mean "did not make a single final on the boys side in state cup as winner or loser," you are absolutely right. Girls appear to have done really well.

that example was from the girls side. Puma elite has great coaches but struggles to get the numbers for better boys teams. Their girls teams do well.

Funny how all of these qualifiers are added only after people are called out.

Anybody interested in actual facts about how these teams do in local, regional and national competitions can go to https://www.virginiafutsal.com/ or https://www.edpsoccer.com/futsal-md#MD-Futsal-State-Cup Lots of good ad hoc teams at older ages in DC and Maryland as well. But poster is correct about the importance of going somewhere with actual futsal training, not just soccer played indoors with a different ball. You can definitely see differences over time.
