Ok that was rude. I don’t know if it has to be friendship ending but I would also feel hurt.

Could it have been a space thing? For my birthday this year, I wanted to do a spa getaway. I meant to include others but the spa couldn’t accommodate more people. A few people reached out but I couldn’t invite others. I think a few friends may have felt bad.

Again, it’s not that I wasn’t invited. It’s that we discussed doing something together, then they changed their minds, and when I reached out to follow up and confirm plans, they ignored me. I found out they all went on a couples trip without us. The ignoring me really bothers me. I sent a text a week before asking if we still planned to do something Saturday. No response. we Had dinner with one of the friends and her dh Friday night and they said “oh we’re just doing a day trip tomorrow!” Find out from social media they all just went on vacation without us. So no, if it were just acquaintances not including me, that would be fine, but these three women were my best friends who ignored me. After making plans with me. And then lied.

It’s bizarre because until recently we were a group who did everything together. Not anymore because I feel really disrespected/hurt

Thank you, I agree. It is just the weirdest situation. They made plans without me and ignored me, but continue to text me. It’s odd and frustrating. Making friends as an adult is just uncomfortable!

No, of course not! It’s just they asked what Dh and I were doing that weekend and I said “no plans.” They responded “okay, let’s keep calendars clear and plan something” followed up and never got a response. Found out they just went without us.

It doesn’t bother me they didn’t invite me. It bothers me they invited me, then apparently decided to just ignore me.
