Don't give up OP - there is a solution you just need to find the right specialist. Meanwhile there are other ways to enjoy sex with your partner other than PIV. If he is considerate he will take your lead and go with it. I went through a period when PIV was painful but oral worked very well for me as it did for my husband - no surprise! Even now PIV is not a must when we have sex.

I’m so sorry OP. I hope that your partner is understanding and supportive - please don’t suffer through sex if it’s painful. You don’t need to do that.
I’d try pelvic floor therapy if you can (cause why not try it?) and don’t have painful sex in the meantime.

NP. My pelvic geography changed after two kids. My bladder will never be the same. One change was nerve remapping I think. I had to relearn what worked.

Go to a different doctor who isn't lazy & dismissive of your concerns. Sex is a healthy part of life. You shouldn't have to suffer through it or go without. Fight for your sexual health.

See more doctors/see specialists. Easy to continue to try to solve rather than just quit. If it was your child with a physical problem, you wouldn't quit.

When I was breastfeeding my hormones made sex really painful and even a little after stopping. It took a while but things are back to normal.

I went through the same thing pills, creams etc
Finally I did 6 weeks of pelvic floor therapy and I'm a whole new woman. It has been so incredibly helpful.
