NP. Please share a link or citation from PCSB re DCI expansion approval. I’ve been following closely but haven’t seen an application, much less approval.

Their enrollment cap is high enough, but they would still need an approved facility. That is the issue.

BM feeds into Macfarland Middle, which is specifically a feeder for kids coming from DCPS dual language schools. It's fairly new but I know folks who are bullish on it. I think it has a chance largely because the feeder pattern gives the school a ton of control over the cohort (ie, no kids arriving in 6th grade who are totally unknown).

Don’t know anything about BM but if you are planning on staying long term where you are, take middle school into consideration. DCI is not guaranteed but high probability where our neighborhood middle school, probability is 0 of our child going there.

We're now at #6... and enrolled currently at EL Haynes. Not sure what choice we are gonna make if we clear this list. Would like to at least tour the school. Would they do that?

My twins, one of whom was #4 on the list, were just (as in, 10 minutes ago) offered a spot at MV 8th street, PK3. The WL is moving, finally!
But also, can anyone give us more insight into the school? We are out of town and won't be able to visit the school prior to having to make this decision... Or other option is Bruce Monroe PK3, Spanish immersion.
